To craft its products, the UNIQUE® brand relies on the unique skills of its seasoned weavers who work on traditional looms using a technique that has remained the same for centuries. Every piece is entirely handwoven, which means that every scarf, every shawl is unique by its nature. We work with awesome people from rural areas, so it’s our responsibility to create a healthy working environment for them. Our craftsmen are paid piece rates and their salaries are twice times the local minimum wage. They’re free to choose to work at home or in our workshop, so they organize their working hours as they see fit.
