PREAMBLE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the distance sales of WORLD WEAVER, a company that creates, designs, manufactures, and sells -across several countries- handwoven women’s and men’s scarves made from premium natural fibres (hereinafter the “Item(s)”). The Items are marketed under the registered trademark UNIQUE.

These Terms apply to all distance sales carried out through the WORLD WEAVER website identified by the domain name https://www.world-weaver.com (the “Site”).

Throughout the Site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to WORLD WEAVER. All information, tools, and services available on the Site are provided to you, the customer (the “Customer”), subject to your acceptance of all terms, conditions, and policies set forth herein. The Customer also certifies that they have the legal capacity to agree to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

By purchasing any Item on the Site, you must indicate your agreement to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale as well as to the Privacy Policy by clicking “Pay”. You may consult these documents before and at the time of confirming your purchase.

WORLD WEAVER may update or modify these Terms at any time. The terms applicable to a sale are those in effect at the moment the contract is concluded. You should review this page regularly to stay informed of any changes.

We reserve the right to restrict access to the Site, in whole or in part, without prior notice.

  1. INFORMATION ABOUT ORDERS

1.1. Selecting items

Customers may select and confirm the designation and quantity of Items they wish to purchase within available stock, and the Items will be added to the “Cart”.

The Cart may be freely modified.

1.2. Identification

Once your selection is complete, you may:

  • log into your Customer account (“Account”), or
  • continue as a guest.

If you do not have an Account, you may create one by entering your name, address, email, and phone number.
Your Account becomes active once confirmed by WORLD WEAVER via email.

⚠️ You cannot modify your address after placing an order. A new order must be made.

Your login and password are strictly personal. You agree to protect them and notify WORLD WEAVER immediately in case of loss, theft, or fraudulent access.

1.3. Placing an order

You must provide accurate delivery and billing information.
A full summary of the order, prices, delivery charges, and estimated delivery date will be displayed.

By clicking “Proceed to payment”, you place a firm order.

1.4. Order confirmation by WORLD WEAVER

After placing the order, you will receive an acknowledgment email.
The contract is formed when your Item(s) are shipped and you receive a shipping confirmation email.

If paid by credit card, the contract is formed when your card is debited.

  1. ITEM AVAILABILITY

WORLD WEAVER may update the assortment at any time.
If Items become unavailable, you will be informed as soon as possible and refunded in full.

  1. PRICES – BILLING

Prices are displayed in Euros (€), excluding taxes and delivery costs.
Taxes (VAT, customs duties) may apply depending on the delivery country.

Prices applicable are those in effect at the time of order confirmation.

WORLD WEAVER may modify prices without notice, but such changes do not affect previously placed orders.

Distance purchases on the Site do not qualify for VAT refund schemes.

  1. PAYMENT

Payments may be made by international credit cards (CB, Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®).

Transactions are completed via secure SSL encryption.
By submitting your payment details, you authorize WORLD WEAVER to debit your account.

  1. DELIVERY

WORLD WEAVER does not deliver to PO boxes.
Delivery to hotels or student residences is possible only with proof of personal delivery.

Delivery timeframes are indicated before order confirmation and cannot exceed 14 days unless beyond our control.

In case of repeated delivery failure and lack of customer response, WORLD WEAVER will refund the order.

  1. PRIVACY

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All elements of the Site (photos, texts, logos, trademarks, graphics, etc.) are the exclusive property of WORLD WEAVER.
Any reproduction, use, or modification is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

  1. RIGHT TO CANCEL

You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the Item(s).
Items made to order or customized are not eligible.

Refunds will be made within 14 days using the same payment method, excluding delivery costs.

  1. RETURNS POLICY

You have 14 days to return Items purchased on the Site.
Items must be returned in perfect condition, unworn, unwashed, unsoiled, and in their original packaging.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days after WORLD WEAVER receives the returned Item(s).

  1. INFORMATION ABOUT THE ITEMS

Our Items are handmade using traditional techniques.
Irregularities or slight variations are inherent to artisanal craftsmanship and contribute to their uniqueness.

Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
WORLD WEAVER is not liable for non-substantial variations.
